We are proud to announce that in 2023, farmers from 12 European countries harvested a total of about 1 million tons of Donau Soja and Europe Soya certified beans. Our network of 900 certified partners creates a traceable and reliable supply chain throughout Europe.
10% of the total European non-GM harvest volumes are now under Donau Soja & Europe Soya certification.
14 CRUSHERS & 31 SOYA PROCESSORS
Soybean processors certified under the Donau Soja & Europe Soya standard are vital when it comes to the distribution of processed soya products. The number of businesses committed to sustainable and traceable European production, is constantly growing. These companies offer certified high-quality soya products for animal feed or human consumption. Their products are ranging from soybean meal, soya protein concentrates, press cake, toasted soybeans to oil or lecithin.
PROTEIN PARTNERSHIPS
Thanks to Protein Partnerships and their supporters even larger quantities of certified Donau Soja & Europe Soya beans were grown in Europe this season. By supporting local soya farmers in the main growing regions of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, retailers and major food brands are making a valuable contribution to building up resilient supply chains from and for Europe.
