On 23-24 September, the Soybean Innovation Community (IC) gathered at BOKU University in Tulln, Austria to reflect on the progress and challenges of the project “Legume Generation” during the first year of soybean field trials. The Soybean Innovation Community is committed to advancing sustainable soybean breeding and research beyond the project, regardless of the challenging weather conditions this year.
New members are always welcomed to join to ensure the long-term success of the project and foster active collaboration across the entire soybean value chain.
A particular highlight was the visit to the variety trials at AGES in Niederweiden, where Clemens Mechtler provided valuable insights into the ongoing research.
We are excited to see the innovations and collaborations that will shape the future of sustainable soya cultivation. Read more about the project here.
