On 6 March 2025, Donau Soja participated in the sixth edition of the AgTech Conference in Chisinau, Moldova, engaging with key stakeholders in the Moldovan agribusiness sector. As part of the exhibition area, Donau Soja shared materials on best practices regarding soya cultivation, shared insights into the new strategic partnership with the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and held valuable discussions with market players on advancing sustainable agriculture.
The Donau Soja Executive Director Aurélie Tournan and Director of the Moldovan Office Ela Malai had the opportunity to meet representatives of different local and international projects focused on smart agriculture practices and climate change mitigation, exploring potential collaboration options with different stakeholders.
The AgTech 2025 conference brought together over 350 participants – farmers, agricultural specialists, technology companies and local and international partners – to explore the latest trends and innovative solutions in the sector.
The event included interactive sessions and themed panels on digitizing farms, integrating IoT solutions, efficient irrigation, managing climate change, crop protection and the use of renewable energy in agriculture. Guest speakers included experts and industry leaders who presented revolutionary technologies and successful examples implemented globally.
