On 18 December, the Donau Soja Partners and Members Meeting in Ukraine welcomed over 80 guests in a warm and engaging atmosphere.
Matthias Krön, President of the Donau Soja Organisation, shared his thoughts: “This is the first in-person partners’ meeting in Ukraine in five years, and I am thrilled to see this tradition revived. Since 2017, we have united leaders of the non-GM soybean market and implemented ambitious initiatives to supply Europe with sustainable, non-GM protein of European origin.”
Volodymyr Pugachov, Executive Director for Eastern Europe, highlighted the broader significance of soybeans for Ukraine: “As we approach the 150th anniversary of soybean cultivation in Ukraine, soya has emerged as a symbol of Ukraine’s European integration. We are excited to expand our efforts to other crops, introduce new certification standards, and further strengthen our integration with Europe.”
The event also featured valuable contributions from Crédit Agricole Bank, offering insights into ESG development and macroeconomic trends, as well as our trusted certification partners—Aciter Inspection, Organic Standard, Control Union Certifications Ukraine, and SIA “STC”—whose support made the event a success.
