The 10th International Conference BLACK SEA OIL TRADE – 2024 in Bucharest has wrapped up, and it left us with key takeaways for the future of oilseed and veg oil supply chains. Donau Soja took part in the conference with two activities:
Our Moldovan office organised a delegation to the Black Sea Oil Trade 2024 conference in Bucharest, bringing together Moldova’s production, processing, and trade sectors to forge valuable connections. The event provided a valuable platform for the delegation to engage directly with industry leaders from over 25 countries, exchange insights, and establish sustainable partnerships aimed at advancing Moldova’s oilseed crop market.
Our Donau Soja Head of Sustainability and Policy, Christoph Müller, delivered a presentation on the Green Deal’s impact on EU oilseed & veg oil supply chains, sparking meaningful conversations about the future of trade and sustainable agriculture, highlighting the need for continued collaboration in shaping resilient supply chains.
A big thank you to UkrAgroConsult for organising such a valuable event and to all who joined us in Bucharest. The collaboration across the Black Sea region and beyond is crucial as we navigate the evolving landscape of supply chains and sustainability.
