The future of Non-GMO production: challenges, legal developments and market potential

Brussels / Berlin / Vienna / Bern / Utrecht. The second International Non-GMO Summit 2024 will take place this year from 7-8 October 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

At a critical time for the EU’s food industry, especially those wishing to keep GMOs out of value chains, this year’s Summit will address the possible upcoming changes to EU regulation on New GMOs (New Genomic Techniques/NGTs) and examine future market developments. The Programme includes insights on market trends, innovation, and the expectations of consumers. It will also feature updates on detection of New GMOs and how they can be excluded from supply chains.

The conference programme and registration information can be found at: www.nongmosummit.com. Ticket sales started on 3 June. There is an “early bird” discount until 31 July 2024.

The International Non-GMO Summit is organised and coordinated by the key business associations in the Non-GMO market: Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik (VLOG), ARGE Gentechnik-frei, Donau Soja, ENGA and ProTerra Foundation.

We kindly ask media representatives that wish to attend the Summit to request accreditation in advance. Please send accreditation enquiries to Franko Petri, petri@donausoja.org.
